Purple GMO Tomato Gets Approval in US. Would You Buy It? Grow It In Your Garden?

The US Dept. of Agriculture has approved an all-purple GMO tomato for human consumption. The seeds have also been approved for home garden cultivation. The Indigo tomato has two snapdragon genes inserted into it, and contains high levels of anthocyanins, giving it a deep purple color throughout.
